The main role of our quality department is to ensure that NORRIS CHAMPIONX standards and company policies are followed.<\/p>

We make sure that the goals set in previous stages are carried out within the established deadlines and with the resources that have been assigned. To achieve this, we rely on highly trained human capital committed to this mission and a Quality Management System that meets the requirements established for the oil industry. All our products are manufactured according to the most demanding quality standards and comply with API specification 11B. As Norris manufactures products using the latest technology and is a World Class Manufacturer, we can guarantee our commitment to quality.<\/p>

In our state-of-the-art laboratory, tests and quality controls are carried out at each stage of the process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As a standard procedure, we apply the following controls, based on API specifications 11B and Q1:<\/p>

  • Dimension verification of raw material.<\/li>
  • Control of chemical properties<\/li>
  • Visual inspection and straightening.<\/li>
  • Mechanical test (traction) to verify mechanical properties<\/li>
  • Fatigue tests<\/li>
  • Shot peening: Complying with NORRIS standards, we apply the NOR PEENING \u00ae process to each rod to maximize the life of components subjected to fatigue during oil pumping.<\/li>
  • Control of machined threads in accordance with standard requirements<\/li>
  • Dimension verification of our product after transformation processes (forging and machining).<\/li><\/ul>

    We take care of directing the different initiatives of continuous improvement that may arise at all organization levels, promoting interaction between the different teams that participate in the processes and emphasizing that each member should be aware of the part they play in the company and know the role of all other collaborators.<\/p>

    In addition, we deal with the administration of documents related to the quality processes and legal and juridical frameworks that support them, including elements such as risk analysis, verification actions and audits, among others.<\/p>
